Wellness Consultancy
“Let’s build wellness rather than treat disease.”
- Bruce Daggy
Our tailored wellness programs are designed to help our clients improve their physical and mental function, increase their energy levels, reduce stress, and to prevent burnout.
At Mindful Movements, we believe that true health begins within the body-mind connection, that's why we specialize in bringing the body and mind into a state of homeostasis.
We all have the desire to experience health, wealth, pleasure and purpose, but without a holistic health regime, our capacity to reach our fullest potential will be significantly limited.
Through mind-body recognition our clients experience a change in their overall quality of life. Relationships will be more harmonious, intuition and resilience will be strengthened, clarity will be restored and energy levels will soar.
Tailored Programs
We create holistic planning for your health and wellbeing.
Our strategies combine science with the ancient modalities of health care that have stood the test of time.
We know that the physical body is going to determine the quality of your life, and for this reason we start all planning at the basics of the autonomic nervous system.
We refer to this method as ‘“the bottom up approach”.
Stress is bred in the physical body and we must regulate our nervous system if we want to achieve and maintain a healthy diet, exercise plan, and to produce positive thoughts, let alone, to take positive action.

Introduction to Holistic Wellbeing
Body receptivity
Having a receptive body means being aware of our senses, emotions, and our thoughts. This also means to have the capacity to move the body and mind through states of energy, i.e. shift from a hyper state of arousal, to a hypo state of arousal (shift between the pendulum of our nervous system).
Awareness
Awareness is the ability to pay attention and to focus on the present moment/experience, both inside and outside ourselves. It is the ability to be conscious of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and our surrounds.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a specific type of awareness that involves paying attention to the present moment with a non-judgmental attitude (neutral observer). It is the practice of focusing our attention on the present moment/experience without being drawn into the past or future tense of thinking.
Heart rate variability
When we have breath awareness and control we influence the rhythm in which our heart beats. The heart rate is the first indication of threat to the body, and this will trigger a response in the nervous system. When we live from a conscious or unconscious position of survival, i.e. to meet those deadlines at work, our breathing and heart rhythms change, and the stress response will be activated. The practice of rhythmic breathing will improve the overall health of the body and mind.
Meditation
Meditation is not about emptying your mind of all thoughts. It is about connecting with your own pure state of consciousness, without your conditioned mind ruling over the present moment. Mediation involves a remedial process of preparation before the meditative state may be accessed by the practitioner. Meditation is an individual journey, and there any many styles to suit the particular person or group.
Movement
Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to change the physiological makeup of any given person. Countless studies have shown that exercise, stretching, shaking, dancing, tapping etc, can improve the overall health of any human.
